HAN University of Applied Sciences has over 70 years of experience in automotive education. Year five You’ll take your knowledge to the next level with modules in Computational Fluid Dynamics & Heat Transfer; Internal Combustion Engines & Alternative Fuels; Intelligent Transport Systems; Composite Materials Lightweight Structures; and an Interdisciplinary Engineering Project. You will have an undergraduate degree in an automotive, mechanical or closely related subject.
Underpinned by core mechanical engineering science and and its application to design and the solution of a range of engineering problems in the context of the automotive industry. The module builds on from A-Level mathematics (or equivalent qualification) to provide mathematical techniques required for engineering. The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) provide helpful information about scholarships and financial aid, design and racing competitions and networking opportunities. You will benefit from the strong links we have forged with the automotive industry.
You’ll work in advanced automotive workshops and laboratories that include industry-standard equipment such as computer numerical control (CNC), three-dimensional scanning and rapid prototype facilities, engine test labs and reverse engineering. If you would like to study one of our engineering honours degrees at Kingston University but are not yet ready to join the first year of a BSc(Hons) course, you can include an extra foundation year within your chosen degree. Typically an experienced automotive engineer can earn in the region of £35k to £45k per annum.
This university is located near the center of the US racing industry located in North Carolina and gives students the opportunities to try for internships, part time jobs or full time positions in the racing industry and gain valuable experience while they ear n their degrees. The courses on offer are grouped into two distinct areas: Automotive Mechanical and Automotive Body and Painting, both of which can be followed on a full-time programme or block release through an apprenticeship scheme. You can get your job more easily with degree of Mechanical engineer than Automobile engineer.
High school students should take available advanced placement or college classes to help prepare them for university engineering coursework and get a head start on building college credits. Automotive Engineering uses Mechanical, Electronic and Safety Engineering to design and run cars, buses, motorbikes, trucks and so on. As a student earning a Master in Automotive Engineering, you will gain the important knowledge and skills to build, test and repair vehicles. Many of the large employers offer opportunities and you can find out about them through their individual website or your careers service.
