The BEng (Hons) in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering shares modules with our Mechanical Engineering programme , but focuses on automotive engineering and design. While master’s degree programs in automotive engineering are available, automotive engineering is a complex and interdisciplinary field, so students may also find relevant coursework through graduate programs in electrical engineering, environmental engineering and mechanical engineering. As the subject of Engineering and our school continuously evolve, the range of modules available and the content of individual modules may change in future years. Automotive engineers should be creative, inquisitive, analytical, and detail oriented.
You also benefit from multidisciplinary design work with students from other engineering disciplines in order to simulate an industrial engineering context.
